Did you know we have a beauty queen in the family? That’s my mom, Lorraine, on the SS Oceanic in the mid 1960’s. She was Miss Phone-y U.S.A. and won first prize. How do you like her gold lame bathing suit? A little risqué, don’t you think?
My glamour girl is still, to this day, a force to be reckoned with. Always fashionable, always up to the minute and always in vogue. What I wouldn’t give to be like her when I grow up.
